RATES * : the above nightly rates are for 2 persons/night, any extra person after two persons is 30 Euro/night. The fee for the final cleaning per stay is 80 Euro and will be added. DISTANCES: the two locations are about 300 m apart while Palazzo Pizzo Residence is about 200 m from the main piazza, the others are just 50 m from the main piazza. The city beach is a 10 min walk from both locations. All shops, bars and restaurants are in short walking distance. It is about 30 minutes from/to Lamezia airport by car.

Direct Bookings from this website require a minimum stay of one week and a 50% down payment for a reservation. The down payment will be refunded when the booking needs to be cancelled until 4 weeks before check-in. The remaining 50% needs to be paid at least 1 months before arrival. Bookings cancelled less than 30 days before arrival cannot be refunded, unless we can resell the nights.
Minimum Stay: for direct bookings we require a minimum stay of one week. If you plan a shorter stay please check via Airbnb or Booking.com for available last minute slots.
Payment: Direct bookings can only be paid via bank transfer or PayPal. If you prefer to pay with credit card, please book via agents like Airbnb, TripAdvisor, VRBO/HA/Fewo/abritel or Booking.
Cancellation policy: If you book with us directly the following applies: We refund your payment up to 30 days prior to check. Later we refund only when we were able to resell the rental. - If you book with an agent, the actual policy stated there applies.
Damage deposit: We do not charge damage deposits for direct booking, however kindly ask you to give us notice of any damages caused by you or found by you.
Registration: Please note that we need to collect data from passports / ID cards for all travelers staying with us upon check-in and register you with authorities (Questura).
City Tax: The Pizzo City Council wants us to collect a city tax (tassa di soggiorno) from our guests. At the moment it’s € 2.00 per person/per night. It is due for the first 7 days and applies all year round (as of March 2019). It is to be settled at check-in, please prepare the correct amount in cash. The above may change according to Pizzo City Council amendments without further notice. Children under 16 years old are excluded from the tax.
Cleaning Fee: We charge a cleaning fee per stay depending on the type of apartment and persons booked (between 50 and 80 Euro). This fee covers also the laundry and ironing of bed sheets. Our apartments get a professional deep cleaning before every check-in!
Parking: Please note that we are located in the middle of the historic town center (centro storico) and free parking (white stripes) is limited. Yellow marked parking space is for residents with displayed valid permit. There are public car parks (blue stripes) subjected to fees. The nearest car park is located in Piazza Musolino in front of the castello at about 150 m from each apartment (tariff 1€/h from 9am to 2am from April 1st to November 4th only on Sundays and festive days, but every day from June 1st to August 30st. The regulation may change. Please double check the signs.) Other public car parks are Papa (with limited free parking spots), Pitaro, Borello, San Francesco, and along via M. Salomone (free). Those are all in about 250-400 m distance from our apartments. For unloading your bags in front of the apartment we will assist you. We recommend to rent a SMALL car.
House Rules: no pets, no smoking inside, no unregistered guest, no party; you will find a detailed house manual on site; minimum age for children is 8 years. The Residence is NOT suitable for any children due to its location on the cliff and also not ideal for people with limited mobility due to the stairs.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in 3.00 pm - 8.00 pm and Check-out 10.00 am or earlier; exceptions upon availability. Please let us know your flights and about arrival time as early as possible.
Airport-Transfer: If you wish, we can organise airport / train station pick up service at own expense (from/to Lamezia airport 40 Euro one way for up to 4 persons, from/to Vibo-Pizzo train station 15 Euro). Price may change without prior notice and is higher for very early and very late schedules. Please let us know if we can assist you.
Note from the owner: We prefer hosting when we are on site. This is usually during spring and summer. Due to an increased interest, however, we have started welcoming guests even while out of town. But thanks to our Palazzo Pizzo Team of family members and friends who stand-by, we are able to ensure a memorable Italian holiday experience.
